Akatemia In English Cambridge examination

Cambridge English offers the world's leading range of certificates for learners and teachers of English – taken by over three million people in 130 countries. They help people gain entrance to university or college, improve job prospects, or measure progress in English. Successful candidates receive a certificate that is awarded by the University of Cambridge English Examinations.

You will be able to access your results online on a given date. Instructions, usernames and passwords will be sent with your timetables. You will be able to view a statement of results, including a profile showing how you performed in each of the five papers.

There are two forms of examination, paper-based and computer-based. At our Akatemia you can study both of these for examinations at Key, Preliminary, First and Advanced level certificates. We also run examinations for Young Learners for children just starting out on their English language journey.

What is my level?

Here is a Cambridge site where you can find a guide to your level:

Cambridge English exams – Mandatory test day photos

From now on, candidates taking most Cambridge English exams will have their photo taken on the day of the exam. This increases the security of the test and will help organisations such as universities, employers and immigration authorities to confirm your results quickly and easily. No-one will be able to access your picture unless you give them access to it.

You will be asked to sign a document, such as a registration form, in which you agree to have your photo taken on the test day. If you are under 18, your parents or legal guardian will need to sign this document.

Your photo can be taken on either the day of the speaking test or the day of the written test. We will tell you when to arrive at the test venue. Make sure you get there on time. When you arrive at the venue, follow the staff's instructions. They will take a passport-style photo of you. See the guidelines in the information leaflet for advice about what you should and shouldn't do in the photo.

Your photo is treated as confidential, like all of your other personal information. Your photo is stored by Cambridge ESOL, and is only visible on the secure Results Verification website. This website is used by universities, immigration authorities and other professional organisations to verify a candidate's result.

You choose which of these organisations can see your photo, by giving them your ID number and secret number (which can be found on your Confirmation of Entry).
